The Belfast Maskers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on its supporters for about 50 percent of its income. This is true of theaters in general. While ticket sales pay for the production of a show, that income does not cover the cost of the daily operating expenses of running the theater. Please let us know if you would like a breakdown of our income and expenses.
Friends of the Maskers are individuals and businesses who make a contribution which directly supports the year’s season of plays. Names of donors are listed in the playbill. No gift is too small! We welcome all Friends of the Maskers for the 2012 season.
Businesses and individuals are invited to become sponsors. Possibilities include sponsoring a Season, sponsoring a specific production, sponsoring one of Maskers community outreach programs such as the Teen Team or the annual program of workshops, or making a contribution to bricks and mortar and other theater improvements such as lights and sound systems.
